    Jaime Mondragon was arrested by federal agents at Orlando International Airport, after arriving on a JetBlue Airways flight from Bogota, Colombia, as he Imported 1 Kilogram of Heroin concealed in his backpack. If convicted, Mr. Mondragon was facing a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Attorney Gonzalez, Jr. represented Mr. Mondragon in the United States Middle District Court of Florida, where he was sentenced by Senior District Court Judge G. Kendall Sharp to 10 years imprisonment.

    In the Summer of 2013, Dario Otero was arrested, held without bail, and charged with Capital Sexual Battery, and other serious related charges. The crime is punishable by a mandatory sentence of life in prison. This crime is called Capital Sexual Battery because it used to be punishable by the death penalty in Florida. Miguel A. González, Jr., Esq. undertook Mr. Otero’s defense which included the hiring of expert witnesses, and a thorough discovery process.
