Miguel A. González, Jr. Esq. was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Queens where he graduated with honors from St. John's University and the City University of New York Law School @ Queens College.

 

Upon graduating from law school in 1989, Mr. González, Jr. served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx District Attorney's Office. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. González, Jr. handled hundreds of cases, including grand jury presentations, hearings, pleas and felony trials.

 

In 1994, Mr. González, Jr. resigned from the District Attorney's Office in pursuit of establishing his own law practice. As a criminal defense lawyer, Mr. González, Jr. has handled many high-profile cases in both state and federal court, in particular handling federal cases in the United States Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern District Courts of New York, as well as handling federal cases in the United States District Courts of New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Puerto Rico, Texas and Ohio.

 

In 2005, in pursuit of warmer climate, Mr. González, Jr. relocated his family and law practice to Orlando, Florida. Mr. González, Jr. is admitted to the New York and Florida Bar, the United States Middle District Court of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Eastern, Western, and Southern District Courts of New York.

 

Mr. González, Jr. has had multiple appearances on major media outlets including Univision, Telemundo, La Prensa, WNUE "La Mega" 98.1 FM, and WHKQ – KQ 103.1 FM, among many others, to give expert legal analysis on current legal issues, including coverage in the case of State of Florida v. Casey Marie Anthony and State of Florida v. George Zimmerman.

Luisa F. Bejarano, Esq. is an attorney licensed in Colombia and heads the International Business Development and Extraditions at The González Law Firm. Ms. Bejarano is a graduate of the University of San Buenaventura de Cali, University of Rosario in Bogota and Camara de Comercio University in Bogota, respectively.

 

Ms. Bejarano targets foreign investors to assist them and their immediate families to become lawful permanent residents of the United States through the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services' [USCIS] Entrepreneur Investor Visa Program [EB-5]. This is a program which invites foreign investors to invest $500,000 USD in Target Employment Area [TEA] in exchange for U.S. permanent resident status. U.S. residency allows the investor and his immediate family to live, work, or retire anywhere in the United States; to travel at your convenience without ever having to apply for another visa; and the option for U.S. citizenship after 5 years of residency in the United States.

 

The González Law Firm works closely with the only qualified TEA Project in Orlando, Florida, approximately 1.5 miles [2.4 kilometers] from Walt Disney World and close to Universal Studios and Sea World. The project is already built and operating with amenities in place.

 

Ms. Bejarano also assists Miguel A. González, Jr. Esq. in extradition matters between Colombia and the United States. Under such Extradition Treaty, Colombia will extradite any Colombian suspected of drug trafficking to the United States to face federal criminal charges. Mr. González, Jr., a former New York prosecutor, with over 20 years of criminal law experience, handles such matters in federal court throughout the United States.

Yadirah M. Rodriguez, Esq. is an attorney admitted to the Florida Bar. She was raised in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, and graduated with high honors from Colegio Rosa Bell. She attended the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in English as a Second Language Education, from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was recognized for having the highest grade point average of students in her field.

 

In 2005, she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she attended Valencia Community College, earning an Associate Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management and Marketing. Ms. Rodriguez then attended Florida A&M University College of Law where she graduated in 2012.

 

Ms. Rodriguez began her legal career as a legal intern at the Baez Law Firm, where she worked in the area of Criminal Law during the highly publicized Casey Anthony trial. She then interned at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, where she was exposed to the federal practice of law. She took and passed the Florida Bar immediately upon graduation, and became a solo practitioner, concentrating her private practice in the areas of Criminal and Family Law.

 

In 2014, Attorney Rodriguez joined the Montes de Oca Law Group, LLC in Kissimmee, where she did extensive work in the areas of Criminal and Family Law. In 2015, Ms. Rodriguez joined The González Law Firm. as an Of Counsel attorney to expand the firm’s Criminal and Family Law divisions.
